12th International Conference on Limb Development & Regeneration

Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to announce the 12th International Conference on Limb Development & Regeneration to be held at Mont-Tremblant, Quebec from June 3rd to 7th, 2012. Registration is now open on the web site:  http://www.ircm.qc.ca/CONFERENCES/LIMB/Pages/index.aspx?PFLG=1033&lan=1033  
Deadlines for Registration, Abstracts and Lodging are 8th February 2012.

This conference, held alternate years, brings together the leading researchers studying the development, evolution and regeneration of the vertebrate limb, which endures as one of the premiere models for pattern formation and morphogenesis.
A broad range of topics and new areas in the field will be covered including limb initiation and identity, patterning and morphogenesis,  genetics and human disease; evolutionary adaptation, regeneration, and epigenetics/genomic approaches to study limb development.  Confirmed speakers include Marie-Andre Akimenko, Denis Duboule, Jose Luis Gomez-Skarmeta, Marian Ros, Cliff Tabin, Miguel Torres, Steve Vokes,  Rolf Zeller and Elazar Zelzer.  As in past years, the majority of the talks will be selected from submitted abstracts.
